Installation
"Standard" wire harness and original installation
The system was originally purchased with an engine from
Speed-o-motive, and installed by V8 Rail.
Calibration & Tuning
The engine was rebuilt by Top
of the Hill in Livermore, CA. I had Dave at Autotrend do the Accel tuning
while on the engine dyno. I was very impressed with Top of the Hill's
facility and staff, and very happy with Dave's tuning ability and knowledge of
the Accel software.
The Results
Peak Output:
485 HP at 6400 RPM
475 lb-ft at 4900 RPM
The torque curve makes the engine very driveable in the sand.
454 lb-ft @ 3500 RPM - 390 lb-ft @ 6500

I decided to take the plunge an have Autotrend make a new harness
for the
car.

Custom made Accel wiring harness can be made by Autotrend.

Autotrend also makes an un-terminated harness (complete on the
ECU side) that installers can use to make their own custom harness.
