I have never used full motorcycle boots when riding ATVs. Never
been a two wheel guy, so I just ended up wearing hiking boots. Hiking
boot definitely provide more protection that tennis shoes, but a bit
more support would be a good idea. I have also had a few times
when my laces ended up in the sprocket or looped around the shifter.
So when I saw Thor's new 50-50 boot, I decided to give them a try.
The price is competitive with a nice hiking boot at just over $100.
The boots are pretty comfortable. Easy to walk around camp
without feeling like you have moon boots on. The buckles are easy to
latch.
Riding with the 50-50 boots was great. They aren't too clunky.
I could shift easily, but it still felt like I had great support when
hitting a whooped out trail

I chose the Thor 50-50 in Tan
I'd give the Thor MX 50-50 boot a thumbs up for the type of riding I
do. They provide increased protection over hiking boots, but they are
comfortable to wear around camp. If you are into big jumping or
racing, these aren't the boots for you. Still with full motorcycle
boots.
