Gordon's Well Trip Report
Christmas - New Year's Eve 2005
We left Northern California at 5 AM on the day after Christmas
heading for Gordons Well. Our first stop was unfortunately an unplanned one at
Cummins West in Fresno.

The "Low Coolant" light came on about 6 AM. Pulled over at a
rest stop, and sure enough it was low. Put two gallons in the overflow
tank and found the leak at the coolant filter. We kept driving while making
calls to see if we could stop and get it fixed. Cummins West in Fresno has
emergency services available. Since his was a holiday, they had to call a
tech in to do the work. Three hours later and a $450 bill on my credit
card, we were on the road again. Not a good way to start the trip.

Here is the crew on our run from Gordons Well to Glamis. We couldn't have asked
for better weather.

Here I am teaching the fine art of digging out.
While at Gordons Well, I hooked up with Justin from Revenge
Racing. He spent some time tuning
the suspension on my car.
