This was a quick trip for me, and will mark a change to the
way I dune for now. I decided last March to sell my sand car, and today was
the day I delivered it to its' new owner at Sand Mountain.

Revenge Racing Silencer
I am really going to miss the rush that I got from a fast
dune ride while following Pat (Duneflyer) or Mike (Mike330R) down in Glamis,
but I think this will make things a lot more simple.

Our Kawasaki Teryx and Polaris RZR
There will be no replacing the 600HP that came with my sand
car. Instead I will be chasing 75HP or 100HP in a UTV. I may be crazy,
but I really enjoy the ability to do different types of terrain, and UTVs
may be a lot slower, but they are very capable - from dunes to rock crawling
and everything in between. With two side x side vehicles, we can gather up
the whole family and go for a ride, and always have two vehicles in case of
breakdown.

I can fit both UTVs on a 16 ft. open trailer.
Will I be satisfied with the decision to go without a sand
car? I am not sure. I do know that if I ever get another one, I
will go with less power, smaller, lighter, more simple. But then
again, who really knows....
