Crankcase Siphon Break

Oil at the bottom of your air box?  Most likely the oil is coming from your crankcase breather. This is fairly typical, and chances are there is absolutely nothing wrong with your engine, but it does make a mess.

The solution to this problem is to install a siphon break on the crankcase breather. The best setup is to cut back the hose about 4" and install a plastic bottle on one of the two nipples. Add another section of hose to the top nipple and then a small K&N filter to the end of that.  Oil that is pushed up the hose will collect in the bottle, then drain back to the crankcase.
