Pay station is on the right, just past the ranger station. There is
a pay phone and a bathroom near there too. Garbage bins are bit past the
pay station on the left. Pads 1- 5 are marked with paint on the road (see
picture below).
Cement Flats - Hwy 78 & Gecko Rd. Turn right on
Gecko Rd., then another right turn before Ranger Station. Bathroom. No
dumpster. Vendors are located across Gecko Rd.

Typical Gecko Road "Pad" style camping -
Hardened pads just off of Gecko Road. Pad numbers go from 1 - 5 (order:1,
1.5 (new), 2,
2.5, 3, 5, 4).

About 1/2 mile
from Hwy 78. Pads are marked by white paint on road. Bathroom at Pay
Station. Dumpsters nearby.
Osborne Overlook - Hwy 78 between Gecko Rd. and Glamis
Beach Store (3.8 miles west of Glamis Beach Store). Closed on holiday
weekends (now used as BLM "command" center). Small camping
area. Great access to big bowls. Dedicated to Hugh T. Osborne. No
bathrooms or dumpsters.

Glamis Flats - Hwy 78 just west of Glamis Store. New
pit toilets installed summer of 2006.

Wash Road - Hwy 78 to Glamis Store. Wash Rd. is
between the store and the railroad tracks. Wash numbers start at the
store and increase as you head south. Wash Rd. is typically filled with
whoops and can be quite dusty. Wash 13 is 2.5 miles from Hwy 78.

From Brawley - Hwy 78 east from Brawley. Gecko Rd. is the first road to
the right once inside Imperial sand Dunes Recreation Area. Ranger
Station is the building on the right. Continue on Hwy 78 past Osborne
Lookout and Glamis Flats. "Glamis" is right before the rail
road traks.
From Blythe - As you pass Blythe, look for the
California Hwy 78 exit (Neighbors Blvd.). Exit here and at the top of
the ramp turn left (South). Continue South on Hwy 78 through Ripley and Palo
Verde (~ 50 miles to Glamis). After you cross the railroad tracks, you will
see Glamis Beach Store.
